he threshold of earth and sea creates a welcome haven for mankind.   Normal rules don’t seem to apply in this ambiguous area of ever-changing tidal rise and fall, where three elements meet.  A far horizon and huge sky with vast expanses of sand, encourage a  lessening of everyday  preoccupations and create emotions from joy and exhilaration  to an almost  meditative  state.  I   try  to  convey this in my  photographic  studies,  echoing the  shimmer of  light and colour,  hypnotic breaking of waves,  joyous movement  or quiet reflection in  this  between-worlds state of being.
