atercolour was my first passion.  I taught myself for a few years,  learning about perspective and composition along the way.

 

I love the purity and luminance that come with a transparent medium, and the patience needed to wait for the right moment to achieve a certain effect. It is a simpler, more meditative experience than fluid art.  The serendipity of watercolour has echoes of fluid art which I am currently exploring;  it seems natural that my path has led from one to the other.
